ALERT: Parents/Guardians of children who have Mylan brand Epinephrine(EpiPens). There has been a voluntary recall in the US. Please click on this link for information and instructions. All EpiPens in the School Nurses' Offices will be checked by your child's School Nurse.

The calendar for school year 2017-2018 was approved at the Board meeting of March 29.

REGISTRATION FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2017-2018 is now open. New families to the district should click on the Registration link on the district website for instructions, a documentation checklist and deadlines.

The Montclair School District is once again administrating its Summer Enrichment Camps for the 2017 summer season.  Camps will run for six weeks, June 26-August 4 in various schools throughout the district. The deadline to register is June 9.

The agenda for the BOE Workshop meeting on March 29 has been posted.

The Montclair Board of School Estimate will conduct its second Budget Workshop and Public Hearing to discuss the 2017-2018 School Budget on Thursday, March 30 at 8 pm in the first floor meeting room in the Town Hall at 205 Claremont Avenue in Montclair. 

The MBOE Public meeting previously scheduled for Mon., April 10 has been cancelled and rescheduled for Wed., April 12. It will open at 6:30 pm and go immediately into closed session, opening to the public at approximately 7:30 pm. See the revised BOE calendar.

At the March 6 BOE meeting,  the district presented the tentative budget (see also text version of this presentation) and the Superintendent's budget highlights (see also the text version of these highlights).

Introducing online application for free and reduced price school meals. This year, families can complete the Meal Application for their household by applying safely and securely online. Families can also apply by completing the traditional paper application, available from the Business Office. 

Check out Comcast's Internet Essentials, an affordable program providing internet access to families where at least one child is receiving free lunch.
