||Special Education teacher, Joanne Dedovitch, invites a student to add to the "literary cube."
The DLC was chosen for the many program options and therapies available for special education classes for children ages three to five. Services are provided from psychologists; physical, occupational, and speech therapists; and social workers. Located at the community pre-K building at 49 Orange Road, the DLC has received praise from visitors and other public school districts for its most up-to-date, research-based techniques in providing a safe, healthy, and enjoyable learning environment for the students.
To see the teachers working one-on-one with children and using various strategies in this multi-sensory environment, tune in to NJN Channel 8 on the dates listed above.
