On Thursday, May 4, Superintendent of Schools Frank Alvarez delivered his annual "State of the Schools" address at the Ninth Grade Academy atrium, 141 Park Street, at 7:00 p.m. Refreshments were served at 6:30, and a Question and Answer session followed the address.

This event was part of a multi-cultural symposium for worldwide language educators.
