New: 4th Annual Parent Leadership Academy for parents of all students in grades K-8: Promoting Strategies and Tools for Academic Achievement. See brochure for details.

Summer registration for new students entering grades K-8: Mondays and Wednesdays only, July 7 - August 27, 8 am - 3:30 pm at the Montclair BOE Office, 22 Valley Rd.

Registration for new students entering grades 9-12: Monday-Thursday, 8 am - 3 pm at Montclair High School, 100 Chestnut Street.

The Academic Office is developing a series of Common Core Family Resource Guides. See the draft versions for Kindergarten, Grade 6, and Grade 9. Please complete our brief survey to let us know if they meet your needs.

Introducing Online Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals. This year, families can complete the Meal Application for their household by applying safely and securely online. Families can also apply by completing the traditional paper application, available from the Operations Office.

The Montclair Public School District has designed a Frequently Asked Questions  page regarding the curriculum and common assessments (available under District/Academics in the navigation bar at left.) The FAQs were compiled and based on questions, comments, and concerns heard formally and informally throughout this year. If you have additional questions about the CCSS, please feel free to contact the Academic Office.
