The Middle School Placement Request Application form is now available. This is ONLY for students who are currently enrolled in 5, 6, 7th grades who request to attend to a middle school other than their non-feeder school (5th graders), or to change their current middle school (6th and 7th graders). See district feeder patterns. Placement changes will be made according to the district's school placement and assignment policy.
The next Amistad Community Roundtable will be held on Tues., March 18 at 7 p.m. in the Montclair High School Auditorium and will feature a live theatrical presentation by Mike Wiley of "One Noble Journey: A Box Marked Freedom."
NJASK8 Skills Program New Date and Time: Montclair Public Schools is sponsoring a district-wide NJ ASK 8 Saturday Skills Development Program (previously known as the NJ ASK 8 Saturday Prep Program) beginning March 15 at 8:15 am at Glenfield Middle School. NEW: Kids & Anxiety Panel Discussion. Montclair SEPAC invites the community to join in an educational discussion, Wed., March 19, 7 - 9 p.m., George Inness Annex. A panel of five experts will provide an overview of topics ranging from signs of stress to treatment options. A Q&A will follow.
Now Available! NJASK Parent, Student, and Teacher Information Guides for grades 3-5 and grades 6-8 will help students prepare for the annual assessments scheduled for May. Parents/caregivers and teachers are encouraged to read and discuss the guides with students so they may better understand the test content and procedures.

Introducing Online Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals. This year, families can complete the Meal Application for their household by applying safely and securely online. Families can also apply by completing the traditional paper application, available from the Operations Office.
