Edgemont School Professional Development Goal

To provide teachers with techniques that allow students to construct meaning from written text in various genres, further implement the Lucy Calkins Writer's Workshop, and explore and identify technology assisted resources and training. This goal is aimed toward student achievement so that all students indicated by NCLB subgroups will reach the district target increase in Language Arts Literacy.
