Mission: Nishuane School provides students with the foundational skills to develop their talents and interests to ensure academic success in a diverse environment; actively engaging families and partnering with the community.

Vision: Nishuane School is a diverse school that develops creative, curious, and confident learners through academic exploration, healthy relationships, and exposure to the arts.

Open: 9:20 a.m.
Close: 3:35 p.m.
Dismissal Time on Abbreviated Days: 2:10 p.m.

Full Day K-2 Program
Half-day Kindergarten Option: 9:20 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (T & Th, or M-F)

Nishuane's curriculum presumes that all children have special gifts and talents, which the school has a responsibility to identify and nurture. Through "Aesthetics" courses, students discover and develop new interests and knowledge. These require no special talent, just a willingness to learn and sample new experiences and challenges. "Creative I" (CI) modules support students' interests and talents, allowing them to pursue ideas in greater depth and providing outlets for them to excel. Students are selected to participate in CIs based on recommendations and assessments. Both Aesthetics and CIs are offered in a wide range of disciplines, including leadership, computers, and all the visual and performing arts.
