The mission of the Renaissance at Rand Middle
School is to mold individuals to think critically, responsibly, and
empathetically. At the heart of our
school are students, faculty and staff who continually investigate ideas,
become deeply immersed in subjects, and develop a passion for learning.

Domain and the Montclair Public Library. We teach students to value and contribute to
their world through participation in Community Service classes. Our community partners provide us with
service sites that include local nursery and elementary schools, the Township
Attorney’s Office, the Red Cross, IHN, Toni’s Kitchen, and our own gardens
whose harvest is frequently donated to community feeding programs.
