You may have heard the phrase once or twice. More likely than not, you probably feel as if you're hearing it everywhere you turn these days. So what exactly does "Going Green" mean anyway?
For starters, Going Green means different things to different people, though most people would agree that, in its simplest terms, Going Green means doing what's right for our planet.
It may be as simple as changing a light bulb or as complex as developing new methods of producing energy without polluting. In either case, it usually involves making a change – sometimes doing what's right even if it's not convenient. It's about changing old behaviors and looking at how our actions impact the environment – what some might call leading an "examined life".
