No. Due to the number of Montclair residents whose children will be enrolling in the public schools, and the classroom space available, tuition students will not be accepted at this time.
Children should be brought to their usual bus stop two hours after the usual time. Buses will run as usual in the event of a delayed school opening. Parents may also drop their children off at school. If your child’s school normally opens at 9:00 a.m., for example, the delayed opening would be at 11:00.

An information packet is sent home from the schools at the beginning of each school year which addresses district and school policies about student conduct and discipline.
If you don’t find the information you’re looking for on this website, the Board of Education building at 22 Valley Road is open between 8 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday during the school year. In July and August, the building is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The main number is (973) 509-4000.
