OPPORTUNITY FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO CONTRIBUTE TO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS!
Dr. Michele Cascardi, an Associate Professor of Psychology at William Paterson University, is conducting a study funded by the National Institute of Justice (2016-MU-CX-0007) to improve assessment of dating behaviors in adolescence.
Who? A cross-section of students at Montclair High School that represents the study body.
What? Your child is being asked to participate in one, one-hour focus group.
When? Late April/early May.
Where? Montclair High School.
Why? To learn more about adolescents’ feelings and beliefs about dating and romantic relationships.
This study is limited to the first 40 students and their parents/guardians (10 per grade) who agree to participate. Your son/daughter will receive a $20 gift card to a local merchant such as Staples, Walmart, or Target for his/her participation.
If you have questions or would like more information about the study please contact:

NOTE: You/Your child does not have to have any dating experience to participate, and we will not ask your child directly about his or her personal experiences with dating or romantic relationships. We are only interested in what your child thinks about relationships in general.
