Participants Celebrate Completing ESL Course

On June 10, the District's English as a Second Language (ESL) Department celebrated the participants who completed the 2024 ESL Adult Evening Spring Course at the Charles H. Bullock School. They were honored with a ceremony, certificates of completion and a pizza party.

The 10-week free, adult ESL classes for Montclair Public Schools’ parents/guardians began in March and were led by instructors from Essex County Technical School through a grant. Due to the high demand, Montclair Public Schools offered additional classes taught by MPS teachers. Program supplies, refreshments and childcare were also provided at no cost.
