Charles H. Bullock School's third graders brought their study of biographies to “life” with a Wax Museum that would be the envy of Madame Tussauds!

The Bullock Wax Museum featured student statues of artists and writers, scientists and explorers, changemakers, business tycoons, athletes, historical leaders, and performers. Visitors (a.k.a. the Bullock community of families and students) pressed a “button” and the statue would come to life and impart detailed biographical information. A special showing was held for Bullock’s first graders, providing the opportunity for the third graders to connect with the younger students.

“The third graders researched their person, wrote their biographical speech, rehearsed, and created their costume, so when that button was pushed, they became their person,” said Bullock Principal Nami Kuwabara.
