Interim Superintendent Nathan Parker recently recognized two food service staff members, Marie Marable and Jeanette Darden at Bradford School for their hard work and dedication. “These women bring a smile to our students’ faces as they graciously serve them lunch and help them in ways that we truly appreciate,” he stated. “Their kindness and service is appreciated and knowing our students have an extra level of care is very important to their well-being and learning throughout the day.”

Parker commended both with personal letters saying, “Our staff has remarked how you make lunch time easier for them as you find ways to accommodate picky eaters and greet them with a cheerful attitude that lets them know you care. We wanted to acknowledge your contribution to making school life pleasant for our students.”

The letters were presented by Pomptonian Operations Manager Lorraine Mott and Pomptonian Food Service Director Richie Collins. Principal Naomi Kirkman was also on hand to offer congratulations. It was teacher John Supel who originally sent a complimentary letter to acknowledge the two. “I told Mr. Supel how much we appreciated that he took the time to write the letter,” said Mott. “Marie and Jeannette were grateful for being recognized.”
