Get ready to laugh, dance and sing as the Montclair High School students in the School of Visual and Performing Arts (SVPA) present their spring musical, “Mamma Mia!,” beginning May 9.

Featuring the music of Swedish pop group ABBA, “Mamma Mia!” is a heartwarming romantic comedy of love, friendship and laughter. Come sing along with SVPA's cast in what promises to be a fun-filled musical experience designed to enchant everyone.

Student designers, under the direction of MHS architecture and design teacher Gary Rudoren, created the set. Students also manage lights and sound. The play is directed by Montclair High School drama teacher and SVPA director, Megan Wills and the show was co-choreographed by MHS dance teacher and Dance Company director Kamille King and MHS alumna Cece Mitchell. Musical Director and MHS music teacher Sammy Mellman leads an all-student band. SVPA received a license to perform “Mamma Mia!” from Music Theatre International.
