Montclair Opens New School Year

Montclair Opens New School Year
Posted on 09/05/2019
Blue skies and sunshine gave Montclair the perfect first day of school of the 2019-20 school year. Around the district, Interim Superintendent Dr. Nathan N. Parker, principals, vice principals, administrators, community members including the police, fire department and rescue squad, were on hand to welcome students and their families. Students, who arrived on foot, by bus, car, bicycle and scooter, were all smiles as they hugged and reunited with classmates while parents exchanged summer stories. If there were any nerves, students didn’t show it. Dressed in their best, they were excited, energized and ready to take on a new year of learning.
