Explorers Program

Have a desire to join or learn about Law Enforcement? Our Police Explorers Program is perfect for you. Here you will gain beneficial insight on the skills, tactics, and laws that our officers are equipped with. This program gives Montclair youth who are interested in learning about law enforcement the opportunity to participate in (10) two-hour sessions with police officers from many units and learn all about the many different jobs within the police department. Participants will have fun learning in a safe environment similar to an actual police recruit training program, and complete physical training exercises with an emphasis on teamwork and responsibility.

Our Explorers Program is open to our high school youth (Grades 9-12). Explorers will occasionally assist/participate in community events with Federal, Local, and Special Officers.
To register go to http://www.montclairpal.org/ or contact: Officer Sanders at (973) 509-4775 – option # 4 or a.johnson@montclairnjusa.org
