The Northeast Elementary School PTA held its Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 28. More than 100 families gathered for the event, chaired by Northeast parents Erin White and Leana Alagia, which included the school’s annual pancake breakfast. New this year, the PTA added crafts, games, prizes and more. Children built scare crows, played pumpkin tic-tac-toe and bowling, painted rocks for the school garden, learned hip-hop dancing with instructors from Hit the Barre and snapped pictures in a fall-themed photo booth. Students were also able to visit the school’s Scholastic Book Fair. Parent volunteers grilled pancakes and students from Buzz Aldrin Middle School served breakfast and helped with crafts and games. “It was an amazing day for the Northeast community. We’re so thankful for all the parents, students and staff who gave their time and talents to make it a fun and memorable fall morning for the kids!” said PTA Co-President Marci Clark.
