A message from Superintendent Johnson:
This month begins the celebration of African American history month across the nation, and I am so proud to be able to showcase the interesting and vibrant activities planned at all of our schools across the district. While the curriculum integrates African American history and culture throughout the year, in February we have a unique opportunity for our students to display and demonstrate their learning as we honor and recognize African Americans who have enriched our society with their contributions.
I invite you to take a few moments to view a
summary of the events at our schools during February. Even better, if you have the time, please visit the schools to see these events and displays in person. The students would be delighted, and I think you will be amazed at the abundant talent in our schools.
For February and beyond, we will always be—Great by Design: We are #MontclairProud!
