On Feb. 9 and 10, the Montclair Public Schools held a two-day training session on 3D printers for teachers from each of the district's 11 schools. All district schools now have 3D printers as part of a 3D printing initiative that was rolled out last month.
The 29 teachers gathered at Central Office to learn how to use Autodesk 123D software for the computer-aided design of physical objects that will be created on 3D printers.
