On Saturday, October 22, more than 300 members of the Northeast Elementary School community gathered at the school to celebrate fall festivals from around the world, including Diwali, Dia de los Muertos, Oktoberfest, and Sukkot, at the annual Northeast Global Fall Festival.
At this outdoor event hosted by the Northeast PTA and supporting the school's Global Studies magnet theme, guests watched traditional Korean drum and dance, Chinese Lion Dance, Indian classical dance, and African drum performances, ate culinary dishes from around the world, and participated in games, arts and crafts, and other activities.
