Edgemont students celebrated Computer Science Education Week (CSED Week) during the week of December 5-9 by participating in the
Hour of Code.
The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, using fun tutorials to show that anybody can learn the basics. This grassroots campaign is supported by over 400 partners and 200,000 educators worldwide.
Edgemont's students get lots of coding experience through the
Code.org curriculum, but this week was important because they were able to try new coding activities and develop new skills at the same time as other participants from around the world.
