Students from all grades recently participated in Renaissance Middle School’s STEM Fair, showcasing their creativity, innovation, and knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The STEM Fair was an opportunity for students to apply the skills they have learned in the classroom to real-world problems, and to work collaboratively on exciting and challenging projects.

“We were impressed by the quality and variety of the projects, which ranged from robotics and computer programming to environmental science and biotechnology,” said Principal Maria Francisco. Science teachers Emily Cullen, Alvina Babu and Carrie Hittel were instrumental in making the STEM Fair a success. “Their dedication to our students is invaluable and we are lucky to have such a committed team.”

A judging panel comprised of Math and Science teachers from throughout our district (except Renaissance) evaluated the projects and provided valuable feedback to students. “Their expertise and insight helped to make the STEM Fair a meaningful learning experience for everyone involved,” added Francisco. “Thank you to all the students who participated in the STEM Fair, as well as the teachers, parents, and volunteers who supported them along the way. We are proud of the hard work and dedication that went into each and every project, and we hope that this experience has inspired our students to continue exploring the wonders of science and technology,” said Francisco. “We look forward to seeing what new ideas and innovations our students will come up with in the future.”
