The Montclair PTA Council sponsored a free STEM Festival for the school community on Sunday, April 29. While the weather didn’t cooperate (the event was originally slated to take place at Edgemont Park but was moved inside), students and families came out in full force to participate.
The engaging and diverse hands-on activity stations, targeted toward elementary-aged students and their families to work on together, included robotics, color experiments, catapult, tessellation, composting and other stations. One parent shared, “This was amazing! My daughter said, ‘I thought slime was going to be my favorite but the fossil finding booth was my favorite."
