On Wednesday, Oct. 4, the community had the opportunity to meet with members of the Montclair Police Department (MPD) in honor of “National Coffee with a Cop Day.” Trend Coffee and Tea House hosted the event, dedicated to encouraging communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public in a relaxed, friendly environment.
Dr. Felice Harrison-Crawford, Assistant Superintendent of Operations and School Support Services attended the gathering as the District’s liaison to the MPD.
Montclair Police Chief Todd Conforti, Deputy Chief of Operations Wil Young, and several officers were on hand to answer questions, listen to feedback and discuss community concerns.
