The Montclair Education Association held its annual gift Wrap and Roll on Tues., Dec. 6 at the Charles H. Bullock School. Volunteers from throughout the district took time to stop by and help wrap more than 500 donated gifts.
Wrap and Roll was created by the MEA as an opportunity for the Montclair community to come together for a time of sharing, giving and celebration, while helping to address the economic needs and challenges faced by many Montclair families during the holiday season.
The MEA is supported in this event by grants from the New Jersey Education Association’s PRIDE in Public Education and Families and Schools Together (FAST) programs.
Each of the 11 Montclair Public Schools and the Developmental Learning Center brought their donated, unwrapped gifts to Wrap & Rollfor an evening of wrapping, music, dancing, refreshments, and good cheer. Well over 200 educators, elected officials, community leaders, PTA members, the MFEE, Montclair residents, and police officers all volunteered their time.
